TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION OF THICK - THIN CONTROL UNIT

 

 

Thick-Thin instrument automatically increases wall thickness at both ends of PVC pipe: so after socketing wall thickness is maintained.

 

 

  

 

1.

Pipe length Set  :Total end to end length of PVC pipe is to be set by this thumbwheel.  Generally Standard PVC pipe length is 600 cm (i.e. 6 meters).

Leading end length set & Lagging end length set :-    Length  of thicker portion required at both ends namely Leading  end  & lagging end is to be set by 2-set of thumbwheels.

% thickness set pot :- %  of  thickness  to be  increased can be  set  by  this  potentiometer      & thickness can be increased upto 25% .

Gear Ratio Selector: - Sometimes  Traction  unit  is having different gear  ratios  &  hence different Linear speed at maximum RPM of Motor.   At  factory  unit is calibrated for 10 mts\min i.e.  giving  tacho input  of 50V AC to IC 324 (so out put frequency is 600 Hz)  and  frequency divider  is adjusted at '36' to get one pulse per one centimeter travel  of PVC pipe on traction unit.

Auto/Bypass: - When Switch is kept on bypass mode: instrument is bypassed: & there wont be any thickening and even if power supply is 'ON’. and when switch is in Auto Mode, automatic thickening will take place.
