4 Quadrant Reversible Regenerative Drives

IEEC 's fully solidstate thyristorised four quadrant reversible regenerative "VARI-DRIVES" are for fast braking and reversal of a single or multimotor drive system. IEEC dual converter arrangement ensures smooth and fast braking without excessive wear and tear on the system.

This type of system considerably improves total efficiency because of reversal of electrical much faster.

These drives are extremely useful where the system has high inertia or where the process requries frequent and fast braking or reversal of speed such as for decoilers / unwinders, milling machines etc.
